As part of our exam we also had to submit a book of sketches and ideas - here are a few bits and pieces from that.

The Wedding Table Pieces

A few pictures of the wedding centrepieces that I proposed for my wedding brief - natural, unstructured flowers in casual containers is the idea here. The bride's favourite flowers were ones that she remembered from a childhood spent in the countryside, and so I tried to capture a bit of an element of playfulness with my choices also.

Contemporary Bridal Bouquets

Using arum lillies and various bits of random greenery, namely leucadendron and eucalyptus. Unfortunately as you can see in the top image, I had a bit of a prolapsed lily situation, but apart from that I quite like the style of this arrangement.

Peachy Hand-Tied

This was actually supposed to be an exercise in creating a wired cascading bridal bouquet, however ended up looking more like a hand-tied - not quite sure where it all went wrong, going to need some practice!

The Big Wedding Brief
