Mask / Spring

Our brief here asked us to design two masks representing different seasons using texture, colour and form. In an attempt to avoid going near any papier mache I chose this mesh as a base on which to build up my different textures. This mask represents spring.

Mask / Summer

This mask represents summer, using the little noses from cymbidium orchids.

Spring Nests

Nests made of moss and twig filled with spring flowers; freesia, lisianthus, ruscus, pussy willow, waxflower and some phlox, along with a few other wee bits and pieces.
